Well as we all know America has a huge addiction to oil.We will
go over what I would do to address this in this paper.I think our oil addiction
will be our downfall in the end.From now on people should only drive
electric cars, a lot of people underestimate how fast and far a properly set up
electric car can go.On one of my trips into southern California I saw this electric car
outrun a ferrari.This is proof that people can get an environmentally sound vehicle
without sacrificing power.

How do we fill up our electric cars you say, well that is not so easy.What we
would have to do is convert all our gas stations to electronic power supplys.It wouldn't
be a 6 hour wait to fill up either, it would be like those 15 minute quick chargers people
have for their rc cars.The gas stations would have huge solar panels out back to supply
all this power.By doing this it would make the gas station almost completely self sufficient.

Now as for those big rigs that supply all our stores.There is the option of
bio diesel. It burns extremely clean, it is also readily available.The truck drivers
will also see a slight difference in power.Because the bio diesel actually cleans
the engine of contaminants.This change will also help stop global warming.

Cars and trucks are not the only thing that we have to worry about.
Our houses are another major concern, a lot of people use propane water heaters.
If we could retro fit all our homes to be self sufficient with electric water heaters,
and solar panels.We wouldn't have to pay for electricity anymore.I don't know about
you but that sounds pretty good to me.

We have all the resources to make this happen.What we need to do
is apply it into our every day lives.This might be an expensive transition, but it
is for the better.If we just pull together we can make this world a better place to
live for our children.In conclusion I think we should all go green.

What makes a good community. Michael Nordland

My paper is about what I think makes a good community.
I think a good a good community is what most average American families
either want to,or are currently living in.Whether they are single moms,
or bachelors. They can feel safe knowing they are surrounded by
honest, hard working people.

There is a fine line between a good community, and a bad
one. The economy plays a big role in this. For example, if a car lot closes
all of those people who lost their jobs, will be unable to pay for their houses
until they get another job. If they can't afford the house they live in, they
will be forced to move. On a larger scale this can create a vast amount
of vacant community's, and we all know we cant have a community
without people.

On a better note, if a community has crime watch it will help
weed out the trouble makers, making the community safer. Also, the
neighborhood crime watch people, keep criminals in check.They do
this by talking to neighbors, making sure the criminals haven't violated
their terms of release. In my opinion, I think it would be a good idea to
put crime watch in some of the not so good areas, and see if the crime
rate goes down. I don't know what we would do with out the crime watch
program.

I think speed bumps are a must for a good community.
No one wants to hear a car ripping through the neighborhood.I don't
know about you, but that's not a place i would want to live. unfortunately
for a lot of people, they don't take this into consideration, and get stuck
with this problem. It also puts children at an unnecessary risk.

So to make a good community, you need good people, otherwise
it's not a good community. You should also have crime watch or something
like it, to help prevent crime.As we discussed earlier, the economy can either
make or break a community.But what we didn't discuss is how the economy can
affect the way a house is built.Maybe next time
